Paul Heaton performs live at Co-op Live Arena with special guests Lightning Seeds and Rianne Downey.
Paul Heaton plays Co-op Live on Saturday 14 November, with Rianne Downey and Lightning Seeds on the bill. Heaton is an English singer-songwriter best known as the lead singer of The Housemartins and as a founding member of the pop-rock group The Beautiful South, where he wrote hits like 'Rotterdam', 'Don't Marry Her' and 'Perfect 10'.
Lightning Seeds is the brainchild of Ian Broudie, who emerged from the late-1970s post-punk Liverpool scene playing in Big in Japan and went on to produce acts such as Echo & The Bunnymen. Broudie released the debut album Cloudcukooland in 1989, followed by Sense and the seminal Jollification in 1994, and his 1996 football anthem '3 Lions' topped the charts. Rianne Downey also appears on the bill.
