Nickelback perform live at Co-op Live as the headliner of their Everything Under The Sun tour, with Don Broco as the support act.
Nickelback play Co-op Live on Wednesday 2 June 2027, with Don Broco supporting. It's part of a five-date tour, and the Manchester show is billed as Everything Under The Sun.
For those who only know them by reputation, the band started in Hanna, Alberta, in Canada. They were championed early on by 99.3 The Fox, a Vancouver station that ran an annual competition for local bands, which they won in 1999. Chad Kroeger founded the group as a tribute act, and the line-up grew to include his brother Mike Kroeger on bass, his cousin Ryan Vikedal on drums, and Ryan Peake on guitar, while Chad began writing his own material. The name comes from the Starbucks where Mike worked and had to hand a nickel back as change.
Their radio-friendly sound found a steady audience over the years. In 2007, the singles 'Leader of Men' and 'Breathe' from their fourth album, The State, were well received. The three records that followed — Silver Side Up, The Long Road, and All The Right Reasons — all hit number one on the Canadian charts, and All The Right Reasons reached number one in the United States as well. Daniel Adair has been on drums since 2005, when Ryan Vikedal left.
