Stand-up comedy show Whatsherface by Maisie Adam, a UK comedian known for her observational style and appearances on Taskmaster.
Maisie Adam brings her stand-up show Whatsherface to HOME on Saturday 31 October, with the set starting at 19:30 and doors opening about half an hour before. It's a single-name bill, so she's the only act on the night.
If you've come across her on telly, you'll recognise the style. She's a UK-based comedian known for observational comedy, and she's appeared on Taskmaster, A League Of Their Own and Last One Laughing. Whatsherface leans into the things she's built her reputation on: sharp wit, firecracker gags and the occasional angry outburst. There's a particular persona at work here, one her best friend's mother famously summed up at a wedding as 'the tall, chaotic one with the weird hair'.
It's a show that's been picking up five-star reviews from The Daily Express, The Guardian and The List, and the Evening Standard called her 'a complete comedy natural, currently at the top of her game'. If you're not familiar with her work, that's a good place to start: observational comedy that doesn't shy away from the chaotic side of things.
