A night of stand-up comedy curated by host Clayton Jones, featuring emerging comedians alongside nationally celebrated headline acts.
House of Comedy is at HOME on Friday 23 October, a one-night-only stand-up show curated by Clayton Jones. It's a night of four comedians, with Jones hosting and putting together the bill.
The night is built on a simple formula: pairing budding stars making waves on the comedy scene with nationally celebrated headline acts. That means you'll see emerging names alongside comedians who've already made their mark, all on the same bill. It's pitched as a night for everyone, from die-hard comedy fans to those just looking for a last-minute laugh, and framed as a good shout for date nights, Friday night plans or even for embarrassing your friends.
It's being held in Theatre 2, HOME's 150-seat flexible studio space. For a bit of context, HOME opened in 2015 after the Cornerhouse and the Library Theatre Company merged into one site, and it's one of the few UK venues to produce, commission and present work across film, theatre and visual art, with drama, dance, new commissions, education and workshops running alongside its cinema programme. Theatre 2 is the smaller, more intimate end of that mix.
