Good Charlotte bring their Motel Du Cap tour to Co-op Live on Friday 20 November, one of the European dates they're playing as part of the run. It's a proper double bill, with Yellowcard supporting them on the night, so you've got two names from the same era sharing the stage rather than just one opening act to get through before the main set.
If you've followed them for a while, you'll know the two bands come from similar ground — both pop-punk, both with a long history of touring and records that a lot of people grew up with. Having them together on one bill means the night is built around that sound from start to finish, rather than a random pairing. Yellowcard will take the first slot, and Good Charlotte will follow, so it's a full evening of music rather than a quick turn around.
There's a third name on the bill too: Grave Secrets are listed as support, which means the night actually kicks off with three acts in total. Between them, they cover the whole spread of the evening, from the early support through to the main set. If you're heading in early, you'll catch all three; if you're just coming for the headliners, you've still got Yellowcard to look forward to before Good Charlotte take over.

It's a Friday night, so it works as a start to the weekend. Doors open at 18:30 at Co-op Live, which gives you plenty of time to get in and settled before the first band starts. If you're coming from across the city, that half-past six start means you're not rushing to beat the traffic just to catch the opening act. The whole thing is part of the Motel Du Cap tour, which is taking Good Charlotte across Europe and the UK, with this being the Manchester stop.
