A brand new comedy show from BAFTA and Perrier award-winning comedian Dylan Moran.
Dylan Moran is bringing his new show, Looking for Trouble, to The Lowry on Sunday 18 April 2027. It's a brand new comedy show from the BAFTA and Perrier award-winning Irish comedian, and it's the only name on the bill for the night.
If you're not familiar with him, Moran is best known for his observational humour and for the television series Black Books. He's built a reputation for a particular kind of dry, rambling delivery that manages to be both surreal and deeply recognisable. Looking for Trouble is a fresh start, so you'll be hearing new material rather than a best-of from his previous tours.
The show opens with a tagline that sets the tone: 'Showtime. What are you going to do? Are you going to go to work? Or stay in bed, chasing oblivion.' From there, the act takes a turn for the absurd. Moran promises to reclaim your life by turning you into a lethal kickboxing and chess champion, pioneering new trends in global love-making and joining an elite band of 'trillionaire poet-pastry chef-mountaineers'. It's the kind of high-concept, deadpan nonsense he does best.
