Live music session by Dolphin Love, a producer blending hip hop and guitar-driven sounds, presented by NOW WAVE at The Abbey.
Dolphin Love plays The Abbey on Tuesday 13 October, with the night presented by NOW WAVE. It's a city-centre spot known for its architecture and intimate setting, and the set starts at 7:00 PM.
If you're not familiar with the name, Dolphin Love is an artist who works largely on his own in his home studio, playing all the instruments himself and taking the final mix through to the end. His 2022 debut EP, 999, introduced a world of extremes and contrasts, and he's followed it with the EP Who Speaks Your Mind, which came with a short film. Production-wise he draws from hip hop but keeps the guitar in the foreground, treating the voice more as another element than a lead. He's played festivals like Dockville, Fusion and Appletree Garden, and has shared the stage with Jeremias, Zimmer90 and Γtna. He signs off every post with 'Peace & Love'.
