Acoustic solo gig by Dan Goatham, bassist of Snuff and guitarist of Spoilers, presented by UTB Manchester.
Dan Goatham plays an acoustic set at The Peer Hat on Monday 12 October, part of a solo UK tour he's taking on the road. He's the bassist for the UK punk band Snuff and the lead singer and guitarist for Spoilers, so this is a bit of a shift from the full-band setups he's usually in. The night is presented by UTB Manchester, and he's not on his own — Matt Humphries of Roughneck Riot and Will Walton open for him.
Goatham describes the set as a mix of old songs, new songs and a bit of a knees up, so you'll hear things from across his work rather than just one record. It's a solo acoustic gig, which puts his songs in a different light than the punk and rock bands he's known for. If you've followed Snuff or Spoilers, it's a chance to hear those songs stripped back to just him and his guitar.

There's plenty more on his horizon beyond this tour. He's set to release a new full-band album with his project Wincheap, and Snuff are planning a return in 2027. He's also due to spend a month in Europe filling in for Spike And The Gimme Gimmes, so this solo run is just one part of a busy stretch. The Manchester date falls on a Monday, with the show starting at 20:00 at The Peer Hat, 14-16 Faraday Street, M1 1BE.
