Lunchtime concerts featuring performances by talented pupils from Chetham's School of Music, aged 8 to 18.
Chetham's Lunchtime Concerts are running at Arena Point on Monday to Thursday during term time, through to 17 December 2026. They're held in the Carole Nash Hall, part of the Arena Point complex at 1 Hunts Bank, Manchester, M3 1UN.
The concerts showcase the UK's next big talent, with programmes performed by pupils from Chetham's School of Music. The performers range from 8 to 18 years old, and they come from what is widely regarded as the country's leading music school. It's a chance to hear them play in a live setting rather than just in a classroom or a rehearsal room.
Because they're lunchtime concerts, they fit into a working day without much fuss. They run from 1:30pm to 2:30pm, usually starting right at 1:30pm, so you can pop in for an hour and be back at your desk or on your way home by half-past two. They're on Monday to Thursday during term time, which means there are plenty of dates to choose from throughout the autumn and winter rather than just one or two. The series runs until 17 December 2026, so you've got a good stretch of the term to work around.
