Bonnie Prince Billy performs live at the Albert Hall, presenting his latest album 'We Are Together Again'.
Bonnie Prince Billy plays Albert Hall on Monday 16 November, with the set built around his latest album, We Are Together Again. It's a headline show, and the name on the bill is the stage name of the American musician and actor Will Oldham, one of the most revered songwriters of his generation.
Oldham's work has moved through folk, country and experimental Americana, and he's developed a singular musical language along the way. It's defined by spectral arrangements, darkly poetic storytelling and an unmistakably expressive voice. We Are Together Again is his newest record, tracked at End of an Ear studios in Louisville, Kentucky. It continues a recent run of making records in that city, following I Made A Place and Keeping Secrets Will Destroy You, after a brief sojourn in Nashville for The Purple Bird.
