Glam rock queen Bobbie Dazzle performs her album 'Star Power' with support from SANTù at The Deaf Institute.
Bobbie Dazzle plays The Deaf Institute on Sunday 18 October, with SANTÙ opening the night. Dazzle is the stage name of Siân Greenaway, a singer, songwriter, flautist and producer from Stourbridge who bills herself as a catsuit-sporting queen of UK Glam Rock. She's touring her second album, Star Power, released through Rise Above Records, which follows Fandabidozi from late 2024. Her debut single, 'Back To The City', came out in April 2024 on the same label.
Her sound is a deliberate throwback to the quintessential 1970s Glam Rock era, drawing from The Sweet, Slade, T. Rex and the lesser-known retro glam acts of the time. It's a specific corner of the record shop, and she leans into it fully. She's toured with Alice Cooper, Sweet, Lita Ford and Thunder's Luke Morley, and played Hyde Park with Jeff Lynne's ELO. Lita Ford also guests on Star Power with a solo on the final track, 'Feel It Too'.

Greenaway works entirely on her own, without a manager or booking agent, so she's the one behind the whole thing. The night is 14+, so it's an all-ages affair. Doors open at 18:30 at The Deaf Institute, 135 Grosvenor Street, Manchester M1 7HE, and tickets are £17.50, which includes the £15 face value plus booking and venue restoration fees.
