Half marathon with flat, well-paved loops around Battersea Park, plus 10K and 5K, organised by RunUK.
The Run Battersea Park Half Marathon is on Sunday 28 March 2027, starting at Battersea Park next to the Bandstand. It's a half marathon that loops around the park on pancake-flat, well-paved paths, running past trees and gardens with views of the River Thames. The organisers describe it as a route suitable for beginners and experienced runners alike, so if you're looking for a flat course to set a personal best or just want a scenic run through the park, this is a good shout.
It's put on by RunUK, a London-based company that specialises in 5K, 10K and half marathon events for all abilities. They're running a full day of racing, so if a half marathon feels like a bit much, there's also a 10K and a 5K on the same day. You can pick the distance that suits you and still be part of the morning.
When you cross the finish line, you get a finisher's medal and a selection of goodies. The race is chip-timed, so you'll have an official record of your time, and there's an official race photographer on the course to catch you in action. There's also a medical team on hand and a free baggage drop, so you don't have to lug your gear around while you run.
