Day party with live DJs spinning R&B from the 1980s to today, with guest artists, food stalls and cocktails in the garden.
RnB in the Garden takes over The Garden Vauxhall on Saturday 24 October, a day party built around R&B from the 1980s to today. The music runs across the decades, so you'll hear the older records alongside the newer stuff rather than one era taking over the other. It's a day party, not a night one, which changes the whole feel of it — you're in and out while it's still light, and the music starts in the afternoon.
Live DJs front the session, spinning a mix of classic and contemporary R&B throughout the day. Guest artists make appearances, and food stalls serve bites alongside cocktails that are available all day. The organisers describe it as a vibrant day party celebrating the best of R&B from the 1980s to today, built around an atmosphere of great music, good food and community vibes. It's a fairly straightforward setup: DJs on the decks, food on the tables, and drinks running all afternoon.
