Two-day hybrid conference and unconference for software builders on how to stay authentically human in the age of AI.
Re:Build is coming to the Business Design Centre on 5 and 6 May 2027, two days for anyone building software in the age of AI. It's a hybrid between a conference and an 'unconference', and it frames itself around a single question: 'In a world that is artificially intelligent, how can you continue to be authentically human?'
Rather than sitting and listening, you're pushed into the role of active participant. The sessions run on formats like lean coffee, goldfish bowl, and The Conversation — a World Café-style session — alongside hands-on workshops and labs. The two days stretch from an opening keynote on Wednesday morning to a closing keynote on Thursday afternoon, with a social at a local bar to round off the first evening. The programme is run by KimmiCon Ltd.
The line-up brings together a few different perspectives: Kevlin Henney as thought provoker; Sonia Malik, founder and clinical director of Psychological Consultations Ltd; Sven Peters, AI evangelist at Atlassian; and Blanca Garcia Gil, founder, coach and facilitator. The whole thing is run by founders Kim Fletcher and Dan Hardiker, with Audrey Neveu on the steering committee.
