Free-entry party night with R&B, hip-hop, house and trap music until 3am in the club room of The Old Queens Head.
Pour It Up returns to The Old Queens Head on Saturday 7 November, taking over the club room upstairs for a night that runs until 3am. It's a late one, and it's tucked away in the club room rather than the main pub floor, so you'll want to keep that in mind if you're planning your evening around it.
The night is billed as a pure, unpretentious party, and the music reflects that. The selection leans on R&B, hip-hop and club bangers, and it doesn't stick to one corner of the room. You'll hear electronic, house, contemporary R&B and trap, so the sound shifts across the night rather than staying in one place. It's the kind of mix that works as well for a few drinks as it does for staying until the early hours.
The Old Queens Head is at 44 Essex Road, London N1 8LN, just a short walk from Angel in Islington. If you're coming from elsewhere in the city, it's an easy spot to get to, and the club room is upstairs, separate from the pub below. The music starts at 9pm and keeps going until 3am, so there's plenty of runway if you're in for the long haul.

Entry is free before 9pm, so if you get there early you can settle in without paying a penny. After that, it's £8 in advance or £10 on the door. With the music running until 3am, you've got a full night ahead of you.
