Free information lecture on spiritual healing and help through the teaching of Bruno Groening, followed by a Community Hour.
Latvian House is hosting a free information lecture on help and healing on the spiritual path on Saturday 31 October, from 12:30 to 13:30. It's a one-hour talk that looks at how spiritual healing and help can be found through the teaching of Bruno Groening, a figure whose work is the focus of the session.
The lecture centres on one of Groening's most well-known phrases: 'There is no incurable, God is the greatest physician'. The organisers say these words have been proven and documented by independent physicians, and the talk sets out the reasoning behind that claim. If you've never come across his teaching before, this is a good place to get a proper introduction to it.
One thing that makes this more than just a quick drop-in is what happens afterwards. A Community Hour follows the talk, running from 14:00 to 16:15, so there's plenty of time to stay on and talk it through with other people rather than just heading home as soon as the lecture finishes. If you're only free for the hour, that works too, but the afternoon stretches out if you want to stick around.
