Headache, the trip-hop and downtempo electronica project of Francis Hornsby Clark and Vegyn, plays Outernet Live on Denmark Street with pigbaby.
Headache play Outernet Live on Wednesday 2 December, with pigbaby opening the night. The show is presented by dollop, and it starts at 19:00.
Headache is the collaboration between writer and poet Francis Hornsby Clark and music producer Joseph Thornalley, who you might know as Vegyn. Their debut, The Head Hurts, But The Heart Knows The Truth, came out on 31 May 2023 on Vegyn's PLZ Make It Ruins label. It streamed over 19.4 million times on Spotify and sold more than 8,000 physical copies entirely organically, with no marketing or PR spend behind it.
The sophomore album, Thank You For Almost Everything, keeps the trip-hop and downtempo electronica sound of the first record and adds the duo's signature AI-voiced spoken word. Artist Cali Thornhill DeWitt returns to design the packaging and cover. They describe their work as sitting across ambient breakbeat, balearic downtempo and electronic.
