Premier League London derby between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea take on Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 24 October, a Category A London derby that arrives with plenty of baggage. It's a Premier League Round 8 fixture, and for anyone who follows the two, it's one of the bigger dates on the calendar.
There's a bit of a pattern to this one. Chelsea have won three consecutive Premier League encounters with their rivals, and Tottenham haven't won at Stamford Bridge in competitive fixtures since 2018. The two sides have drawn none of their last eight meetings, and their most recent competitive clash ended in a 2-1 Chelsea win at the Bridge in May 2026. All-time, Chelsea hold 24 wins to Tottenham's 7, with 11 draws between them.
It's a match that sits in the middle of the early season, with both sides still finding their feet in the table. The venue is Stamford Bridge, which holds 40,044 fans and plays on a grass surface. Kick-off is at 18:30, so it's an early evening game that should have the crowd in and settled well before the first whistle.
