Over-18s only show by Armin van Buuren, marking 25 years of A State of Trance at Drumsheds London.
Armin van Buuren brings A State of Trance to Drumsheds on Saturday 14 November, the first time the ASOT festival has been held indoors in the UK. It's a big one for the Dutch DJ and producer, who's built his name around the weekly radio show that shares the event's title.
For a quarter of a century, A State of Trance has shaped the sound, culture and community of trance and progressive electronic music, growing from a radio show into a worldwide movement with landmark events across the globe. This London edition marks 25 years of the brand, and the whole day is built around it. Van Buuren is the main feature, and the production is scaled to the venue: the vast former warehouse spaces of Drumsheds will be filled with immersive production, cinematic visuals and state-of-the-art sound, so the music has plenty of room to breathe.
If you've followed the show over the years, you'll know it's more than just a weekly broadcast. It's been the central hub for trance and progressive electronic music for two and a half decades, and this is one of the milestone events marking that anniversary. The scale of the venue means the production can go quite far with the visuals and the sound, and having it indoors changes the feel from the outdoor festivals ASOT is often known for.

It's a long day, running from 1pm to 10.30pm, so you've got plenty of time to settle in. One thing to keep in mind: the day is for over-18s only. If you're planning to go, that's the one detail to double-check before you head out.
