Festive dance show by Anton Du Beke with vocalist Lance Ellington and a professional troupe of dancers at the Lyceum Theatre.
Anton Du Beke brings his new festive show, Anton at Christmas, to the Lyceum Theatre on Monday 14 December. It's a brand-new production built around his trademark warmth, energy and showbiz sparkle, so it's not just a few Christmas numbers tacked onto an old set.
He's not on his own for this one. He's joined by vocalist Lance Ellington, their band and a professional troupe of dancers, so there's a full live band and a dance company on stage rather than just a backing track. The show runs for two hours including the interval, which gives it plenty of room to stretch out.
There's a bit of personal context to the whole thing, too. Du Beke is the father of nine-year-old twins, and he says there's nothing quite like the joy, excitement and togetherness that make Christmas so special. That's the spirit he's building the show around, so it's as much about the festive mood as it is about the dancing.
