Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is back for another run, taking over the park from Thursday 19 November to Sunday 3 January, open every day except Christmas Day. The final day, 3 January, is the designated Family Fun Day, and the site generally runs from 10:00 to 22:00, though the opening hours shift around in the first few weeks, with last entry at 21:30. It is a six-week stretch, so there is plenty of room to pick a date that suits.

The headline addition this year is Gandeys K-Pop Dragon Circus, over in Show Town. It runs for 55 minutes and mixes K-pop music and dance with circus acts, taking its cue from the film 'It's Gonna Be Golden', with shows at 14:00, 16:00 and 18:00, plus 12:00 and 20:00 on selected days. If you want to bundle it, the Show Town Spectacular Package adds the circus to fast-track entry for The Giant Wheel, £20 Ride & Game Credit and free event entry, from £40.20 for adults. Elsewhere, 'Christmas by Candlelight' brings together West End names Katie Hall, Dean John-Wilson, Tosh Wanogho-Maud and Rachel John across six concerts, from £35 in advance, and there is a VIP Tour Experience for groups of up to six at £149, which covers a private room, refreshments, a VIP dressing room, fast-track entry, three chosen rides, fast-track to the Magical Ice Kingdom, a game session, £30 Ride & Game Credit a head, exclusive merchandise and a photo souvenir.
The usual suspects are all there. The Ice Rink by Priority from O2, the UK's largest open-air rink, sits under the Victorian bandstand, while the Magical Ice Kingdom presents Neverland Escape walks you through 500 tonnes of hand-carved ice and snow sculptures, built with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. The Giant Wheel stands 70 metres as the world's largest transportable observation wheel, and the Daredevil Rides line-up runs the gamut from the 65-metre Airborne and Blizzard to the Munich Looping, the Euro Coaster, The Hangover drop tower and the Aeronaut Starflyer. Santa Land keeps sixteen attractions going, including Flying Jumbos, Dragon's Nest and Santa's Runaway Train, alongside the Jingle Bell Bistro, and Bar Ice serves festive cocktails at -10°C with a live DJ. There are also ice sculpting workshops, each coming with two free entries to the Magical Ice Kingdom.
On price, the circus is tiered by day and seat, with adult tickets running from £13.75 advance off-peak to £19.80 peak, and family ringside from £50.60. Entry itself is £1.00 off-peak in November, £5.50 standard and £8.25 peak. Packages like the Arctic Adventure, Festive Favourites and Santa Land bundle rides and attractions, and ride passes range from the £27.45 Explorer Pass to the £49 Five Peaks pass. Booking online in advance can save up to 25%, and you can pick up a free entry ticket by spending £25 on rides, attractions, packages or food in a single transaction, or by buying £30 or £50 of Ride & Game Credit. The nearest Tube stations are Hyde Park Corner, Knightsbridge and Marble Arch, and the site is at Hyde Park, W2 2UH.
