Free disco night inspired by 1970s New York, with high-energy Nu-Disco, house, funk and soul from Bustin' Loose at Gloria's.
The Disco Express lands at Gloria's on Saturday 7 November. It's a night that takes its cue from the raw energy of 1970s New York and mixes it with the 21st-century dancefloor, built for people who dance deep into the night.
Behind it is Bustin' Loose, a New York-based, London-born label boss, producer, DJ and designer who's toured internationally and shared the stage with Dimitri From Paris, Late Nite Tuff Guy, Etienne De Crécy, Dave Lee, Crazy P, Moodymann and Motor City Drum Ensemble. His sets range from cutting-edge Nu-Disco and uplifting House to vintage 70s and 80s gems, with a strong Funk and Soul influence. The Disco Express is his project, and this is where it lands in Liverpool.
Gloria's is a disco bar and nightclub that programmes live DJs and a house band playing disco and dance anthems all weekend, with cocktails and VIP booths for big nights out, hen and stag parties and birthdays. The Disco Express fits right into that, bringing its own specific New York-inspired energy to the mix.
