Halloween student night where 24 Liverpool university societies take over Y2K with year-group dress-up themes, over-18s only.
The Big Societies are taking over Y2K on Friday 30 October for their Halloween social, Lights Out. It's a student night that brings together 24 of Liverpool's biggest societies under one roof, from Cocktail and Architecture to Law, Computer Science and the Squash Club. The whole thing is built around a dress-up split by year group, so you'll know exactly who you're dancing next to: Year 1 are Cowboys & Cowgirls, Year 2 are Police & Prisoners, Year 3 are Witches & Wizards, and everyone else goes as Superheroes & Animals.
Because it's a society-led night, the tickets work a bit differently than your usual club entry. Society members get invite-only discounted tickets through a promo code, which you can find on your society's Instagram or get from a committee member. If you're not in one of the 24, you'll be paying the standard rate. It's an over-18s night, so you'll need photo ID to get through the door.

Y2K is at 17 Fleet St, L1 4AR, and the night runs from 11pm to 3am, with last entry at 12:30am. Tickets range from £6 to £11 depending on when and how you buy them.
