The Big Gay Cabaret presents its Scream Queens show, hosted by Carmen Sutra and Ruby Boy, with horror-inspired acts.
The Big Gay Cabaret returns to Heaven on Friday 16 October with Scream Queens, the seventh iteration of their Liverpool run. It's a horror-themed night, and the whole thing is hosted by Carmen Sutra and Ruby Boy.
The theme is the driving force here: the acts are built around the icons of the horror genre, drawn from the silver screen, television and beyond. If you've got a soft spot for the classics of the genre, that's where the material comes from. It's a cabaret night, so the horror is the backdrop for the performances rather than a play in its own right.
As the seventh show in the series, it's one of several that The Big Gay Cabaret has brought to the city, each with its own focus. Scream Queens is the one that leans into the macabre, so it's a good fit if you're in the mood for something a bit darker than a standard cabaret night. Carmen Sutra and Ruby Boy hold the evening together, with the horror-inspired acts filling out the rest of the bill.
