Pirate-themed booze cruise around Royal Albert Dock followed by a guided pub crawl with a costumed pirate crew, for 18 and over.
World Pirate Tours is bringing its pirate-themed boat and pub crawl to Liverpool, with dates running from 28 August 2026 through to 31 January 2027. It's a swashbuckling alternative to the usual night out, and the organisers pitch it as a good fit for birthdays, stag and hen parties, corporate outings and big group days out.
The whole thing kicks off at The Princess Passenger Boat near The Tate Gallery in the Albert Dock (L3 4BB), where you'll start with a booze cruise around the Royal Albert Dock. Once the boat docks, a professional pirate crew in full costume takes over, leading the group on a guided pub crawl of local bars. Welcome shots are included, and the pirate theme carries through the rest of the night with games and challenges like tug of war, 'walk the plank', karaoke and sea-shanty sing-alongs. Fancy dress is encouraged, so if you've got a tricorn or a cutlass gathering dust, this is the time to bring it out.

It's for ages 18 and over, and the bars operate Challenge 25, so you'll need to bring identification. World Pirate Tours runs this across six UK cities, and the Liverpool version follows the same format: a cruise around the dock followed by a guided crawl through the city's bars, with the costumed crew leading the way. With dates running from late August right through to the end of January, there's plenty of room to fit it in, whether you're planning a birthday or just a big group outing.
