Paint and Sip - Starry Night over Liverpool

Paintvine is running a Starry Night over Liverpool paint and sip session at Cheers Big Ears on Sunday 1 November, with the same one on Sunday 25 October. Both start at 4:00pm and run for about an hour and a half to two hours, so you're in and out by early evening.

The whole point is to recreate Starry Night over Liverpool on canvas, and you don't need to have ever picked up a brush to do it. A skilled artist leads the room step-by-step through the painting, with assistants on hand to help out if you get stuck, and you're free to make your own version of it as you go. It's built for everyone from complete beginners to seasoned painters, and they describe the atmosphere as judgement-free.

Paintvine runs these sessions in pubs and bars across the UK, billed as relaxed nights out for birthdays, dates and groups, and they also do private and corporate bookings. More than 80,000 guests have attended their events across more than 20 cities. The venue takes photos throughout the session and posts them to its social pages, and the organisers handle all the cleaning up afterwards, so you just leave your painting behind.

It's an R18 session and ticketless, with your details checked at the door. You can't bring in your own food or drink, but there are drinks and snacks available at the bar. Tickets are £32.00, and the venue is Cheers Big Ears, 48-50 Bold Street, Liverpool L1 4DS.
