Modern Funktion Liverpool returns to Liverpool with Locklead, Reeshy, Mella Dee and local talent RoomToo at Invisible Wind Factory.
Modern Funktion returns to Liverpool on Saturday 5 December, taking over Invisible Wind Factory for a night that marks five years of the project. It's his first Liverpool date of 2026, and the booking follows a stand-out set at Eastern Electrics, so if you caught that one, this is the follow-up.
The bill is a long one, with Locklead, Reeshy, and Mella Dee leading the way. Reeshy and Mella Dee are playing back-to-back, so they'll be sharing the decks rather than taking separate slots. Joining them are Benji King and Phill De Janeiro, and the night is rounded out with local talent RoomToo, who'll be playing on home turf. With six names on the lineup, it's a full run of DJs rather than a single headliner.

It's a late one, running from 10:00pm on Saturday through to 4:00am on Sunday morning, so it's more of a club night than a gig. Last entry is 11:30pm, which is worth keeping in mind if you're coming from elsewhere in the city. If you're planning to arrive late, that's the cutoff for getting in.
