Second volume of Miss Honey's Hotline, a night of hardgroove, trance and bounce with a dozen artists from across the UK and Berlin.
Miss Honey's Hotline is back at Meraki on Saturday 24 October, returning for a second volume after the first one sold out. It's a live music session, and this time they've brought in a dozen artists from across the UK and Berlin to fill the bill.
The night is built around hardgroove, trance and bounce. If you're not entirely sure what that means in practice, it's the faster, punchier end of the dancefloor — hardgroove for the steady, driving energy; trance for the melodic, sweeping lines; and bounce for the more playful, rhythmic side. With twelve names on the bill, the night is set up as a proper run of sets rather than a single headliner, so you'll hear a good few different takes on those sounds over the course of the evening.
It's a bit of a wide-reaching line-up, too. Bringing in artists from both the UK and Berlin means the bill pulls from two of the biggest hubs for this kind of music, so you'll get a mix of local names and people coming in from further afield. The first volume sold out, so it's worth keeping an eye on the tickets if you're planning to be there.
