Liverpool Paediatric Neurosurgery Masterclass

The Liverpool Paediatric Neurosurgery Masterclass is coming to INNSiDE by Meliá Liverpool on Thursday 4 November 2027, running through to Friday 5 November. It's a specialist educational event for healthcare professionals working with children who have neurosurgical conditions, and the whole thing is built around bridging the gap between core clinical training and advanced, holistic subspecialisation.

The programme is led by a faculty of neurosurgeons, specialist nurses, neuro-oncologists and allied experts. It mixes state-of-the-art lectures with interactive case panels and surgical step-by-steps, and it doesn't just stick to the operating theatre. It covers intraoperative crises, perioperative nursing pathways and the long-term holistic care of the child and their family, so it looks at the whole patient journey rather than just the surgery itself.

The organising committee comes from Alder Hey Children's Hospital, and it includes Consultant Paediatric Neurosurgeons Chris Parks, Conor Mallucci and Milan Makwana, alongside Dawn Hennigan, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Neurosurgery. The masterclass is open to healthcare professionals only.

It kicks off at 09:30 on Thursday 4 November and runs into Friday 5 November at INNSiDE by Meliá Liverpool, 43 Old Hall Street, L3 9LQ. Tickets range from £125 to £200, with standard fee tickets available until 14 days before the event, after which late booking fees apply.
