The Phoenix Nights cast get back together twenty-five years after the series to share the real stories behind the characters, with a live support comedian and audience Q&A.
The cast of Phoenix Nights are getting back together at Hot Water Comedy Club on Saturday 14 November, twenty-five years after the show first burst onto our screens. It's an afternoon rather than an evening, and the whole thing is built around the real stories from the people behind the characters: the rehearsal rooms, the set, and the chaos that followed as the show became a comedy phenomenon. They'll be talking through the auditions, the filming, the backstage disasters, the live tours, and the moments the cameras never captured.
On stage are Neil Fitzmaurice (Ray Von), Toby Foster (Les), Steve Edge (Alan), Janice Connolly (Holy Mary), and Archie Kelly (Kenny Senior). Fitzmaurice is the only actor to have roles in three of the most successful British comedy series of the last decade — Phoenix Nights, The Office, and Peepshow — and he co-wrote both. Kelly, best known as Kenny 'Dalglish' Senior, has also built a following as a live performer. The afternoon includes a live support comedian and an audience Q&A, so you'll get a chance to ask your own questions too.
