Over-18s retro disco night with the venue's drag queen DJs spinning disco anthems and pop classics.
Disco Inferno is back at DYSCO Liverpool on Friday 27 November, with drag queen DJs taking over the decks for a night of retro music. It's a disco night in the most straightforward sense: the DJs spin iconic disco anthems, retro pop classics and throwback favourites, and the dancefloor stays full. The whole thing is built around the big singalongs that happen when everyone knows the words.
What sets it apart from a standard retro night is that every week brings a different theme, so the setlist shifts around. You'll hear things like YMCA, Raining Men, Boogie Wonderland, Le Freak and Dancing Queen — the kind of tracks that usually get the whole room singing along. The drag queen DJs are the ones behind the decks, and the music they play is exactly what the name suggests: disco and retro pop from the eras that defined the dancefloor.
