Cocktail Masterclasses @ The Benidorm Bar

The Benidorm Bar is running its cocktail masterclasses every Thursday afternoon, with the next one on Saturday 17 October. The bar is at 27 Stanley Street, part of DYSCO Liverpool, and it's built around a kitsch, holiday-strip aesthetic that doesn't hold back on the Benidorm inspiration.

The masterclass itself is an hour long, but the whole experience runs about two to three hours. You're welcomed by drag queen hosts and get stuck into the secrets behind iconic cocktails from the 1970s, 80s and 90s, shaking, muddling and stirring your way through the session with plenty of free booze and classic disco hits playing in the background. There are free shots, cocktails and interactive games along the way, and anyone turning up in their best disco attire stands a chance of winning Best Dressed, with a photo booth on hand to capture the look.

The night doesn't end when the class does. After-hours access opens up the venue's karaoke and pool tables, and you can carry on into its sister venues, Dysco Liverpool and Navy Bar. It's an over-18s event, and you'll need physical ID to get in. Tickets are £36.85, and the masterclass runs from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
