Workshop to make a Christmas wreath from foliage gathered at St Joseph's Hospice, held in the hospice's heated marquee.
St Joseph's Hospice is bringing back its Christmas wreath workshop on Sunday 6 December, with two sessions to choose from: one at 11am and another at 2pm. It's returning by popular demand, so if you missed it last time, this is your second chance to get one sorted before the proper rush starts.
The whole thing takes place in the hospice's heated marquee, which keeps the winter chill out while you work. The foliage comes straight from the hospice grounds, so you're building with greenery gathered right there on site. You'll spend the session putting together your own Christmas wreath from scratch, and when you're finished, you take it home to hang on your door. It's a proper make-and-take, not a demo you just watch.
They pitch it as a chance to get creative, enjoy some festive fun, and spend time with friends and family, or just treat yourself to an afternoon of Christmas crafting if you fancy a bit of quiet time to yourself. Since there are two different slots on the same day, it's easy to fit in around your Sunday, whether you're more of a morning person or prefer a lazy start and a late lunch first.
