Over-18s winter social with jazz, soul, disco and global groove from local selectors ELJA, Scrundie and Charlie O'Brien.
Change Ya Tune kicks off its winter social series at Sefton Park Cricket Club on Friday 6 November, the first of a run of nights that will hop between different venues over the coming months. The series is built around local selectors spinning across jazz, soul, disco and global groove, and this first instalment takes place in the club's setting in Sefton Park.
Leading the night is ELJA, a Liverpool music mainstay and the founder of Red City Solidarity Disco, who'll be digging into her back of tricks throughout the evening. Joining her is the returning Scrundie, and newcomer Charlie O'Brien, whose radio shows and sets at the Kazimier have already caught attention across the city. Between them, they'll be working through those jazz, soul, disco and global groove sounds the series is built on.

It's the first of a series of winter socials that Change Ya Tune is running in community-led spaces across the city, so if you're into that kind of thing, this is the one to start with. The night runs from 19:00 until 00:30, and the door is restricted to over-18s with photo ID required.
