Late-night party with resident DJs TÄYLA and WAD at Bar Bodega on Colquitt Street.
TÄYLA and WAD are playing back-to-back at Bar Bodega on Friday 20 November, as part of the Blurred all night long series. It's the second instalment in the run, and the format is exactly what the name suggests: the two of them sharing the decks throughout the night rather than taking separate slots. They're both resident DJs at the venue, so this is a pairing of two people who already know the room and each other's styles.
Because they're playing b2b, the set is a continuous conversation between them. Instead of one person finishing their set and handing over to the next, they'll be mixing in tandem, trading off and building on each other's tracks across the whole night. It's a different way of hearing a night out — the music doesn't reset when the DJ changes, it just keeps evolving.
As residents, they're part of the regular rotation at the bar, so if you've spent any time there, you'll likely recognise the names. This is one of those nights where the focus is on the DJs themselves rather than a guest headliner, and the b2b format puts that front and centre. It's a long, uninterrupted run of music from two people who play the place regularly.

It runs from 22:00 until 04:00, six hours of continuous music from start to finish. Bar Bodega is on Colquitt Street in the city centre, L1 4DE, so it's easy enough to get to on a Friday night. If you're planning to stay for the whole thing, you'll want to be there early — the music starts at 10pm and doesn't stop until 4am.
