Big Condo Records Presents Hang The DJ

Big Condo Records are back at The Hold on Friday 23 October with Hang The DJ, a night that brings together a fair few names on one bill. The line-up is The Gift, Mala, Antics, Muraki, Element and Live at The Hold, so it's a full run of acts rather than just one or two. It's presented by Big Condo Records, whose Bandzilla showcase spotlights some of the finest grassroots talent in the UK and celebrates the future of British indie, alternative, punk and rock music.

The venue is The Hold at The Shipping Forecast, 15 Slater Street, L1 4BW. It's one of Liverpool's grassroots rooms: a small-capacity space where the audience stands close to the floor and the bill changes every week. If you've been to a few of these, you'll know the sort of thing — a tight room where you're right on top of the stage. One practical thing to keep in mind is that the venue isn't wheelchair accessible.

Doors open at 18:00 and the night wraps up by 22:30, so it's an early one that doesn't run late into the night. Tickets start from £11.25.
