Annual charity wine tasting with samples of close to 100 wines to raise money for Marie Curie Liverpool and local food banks.
Mossley Hill Parish Church hosts its annual charity tasting on Saturday 7 November, starting at 18:30. It's a regular on the local calendar, and this year it's back in the same spot on Rose Lane, L18 8DB.
The main draw is the tasting itself: close to 100 wines to sample over the course of the evening. That's a fair few glasses, so you'll have plenty to work your way through, whether you're there to find a new favourite or just to see what's on offer. It's the kind of night where you can spend as much or as little time as you like on each bottle, moving from one to the next at your own pace.
There's a good cause behind it, too. The evening raises money for Marie Curie Liverpool and for local food banks, so the ticket price goes to two charities working right here in the city. It's a nice way to spend a Saturday night—drinking through a huge range of wines while knowing the money is going to people who need it.

Tickets are £25, sold through randhfinewines.co.uk, and they're currently listed as sold out, so you'll need to keep an eye on the site if you're hoping for a spot. The tasting starts at 18:30 at Mossley Hill Parish Church, Rose Lane, L18 8DB.
