Immersive exhibition at the LFC Museum with a life-size hologram and memorabilia of Liverpool FC legend Ian Rush.
All You Need Is Rush opened at the LFC Museum at Anfield on Friday 14 August, a career retrospective of Ian Rush. He's Liverpool's all-time record goalscorer, with 346 goals in 660 appearances between 1980 and 1996, and he remains one of the club's most beloved figures — voted third in a poll of its greatest ever players, behind only Sir Kenny Dalglish and Steven Gerrard. The exhibition takes its name from the terrace anthem the Anfield crowd sang about him, and Rush was directly involved in putting it together.
Inside, there's a life-size hologram of the Welshman alongside a collection of his personal memorabilia. You'll see his European and English First Division Golden Boots, all 16 of his Liverpool hat-trick match balls, and three match-worn FA Cup final shirts from 1986, 1989 and 1992. It's a proper look at the numbers behind the name: five league titles, two European Cups, three FA Cups and five League Cups won with Liverpool, 73 Wales caps, and a year spent at Juventus before he returned to Anfield.
