Apres-ski Christmas party with a village of yurts, a three-course alpine dinner, headline entertainment and a snowboard simulator at Harewood House.
YurtBar returns to Harewood House this December, running from the 3rd to the 18th. It's a village of interconnected yurts built on the grounds, styled as a miniature alpine retreat with glowing lights, roaring fires, towering pine trees and authentic alpine styling. It's an over-16s night, so keep that in mind if you're thinking of a family outing.
There are a few new additions for 2026. Each week brings headline entertainment, and there's a snowboard simulator to have a go on. They've also added AI and 360-degree photobooths, and heated indoor toilets — a practical win for a night spent in yurts. The evening follows a set schedule: you arrive from 6:00 PM with a complimentary welcome drink, a three-course alpine dinner is served at 7:30 PM, and the party kicks in from 9:00 PM, with the ski lifts closing at midnight.
The setting is part of the draw. Harewood House sits at the heart of Yorkshire and is one of the Treasure Houses of England. Built in the 18th century, it holds art collections that rival some of the finest in the country and more than 100 acres of gardens. The venue is also part of Visit Leeds' 'Culture Around Every Corner' campaign.
