Festive hands-on workshop to make your own wreath in the centre's polytunnel, for beginners to pros.
Herd Farm Activity Centre is running a wreath making workshop on Friday 20 November, held in the centre's polytunnel on Harrogate Road. It's a hands-on session where you make your own wreath from scratch, and you take it home with you when you're finished.
They've billed it as a festive, creative way to spend an evening and a chance to relax, and they're open to everyone from beginners to pros, so you don't need to have any experience with wreaths to get stuck in. The session runs from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, and they've included tea, coffee, and your choice of a mince pie or a glass of alcohol-free mulled punch to keep you going while you work. It's for ages 16 and over.
Parking is free on site, which is a handy detail if you're driving in from across Leeds. The workshop is run by Herd Farm Residential & Activity Centre, and it's held in the polytunnel on the grounds, so it's a proper hands-on evening rather than a quick drop-in. You'll leave with a decoration you've made yourself, and the whole thing is set up as a relaxed way to get a bit of festive making done before the December rush really kicks in.
