Live gig with Vanity Children, English Dead, Minor Disasters and Sheepscar presented by 360 Club at The Lending Room.
Vanity Children headline The Lending Room on Friday 30 October, with English Dead, Minor Disasters and Sheepscar 360 on the bill. It's a four-band night put on by 360 Club, a Leeds promotion that focuses on emerging regional talent across different genres and venues. They're well known around here for giving Alt-J their first gigs and working with them right up until they signed.
The Lending Room is the upstairs room at The Library, a pub on Woodhouse Lane on the edge of Hyde Park, just next to the main University of Leeds campus. The building has lived a few lives before settling as a music venue: it was a fire station and then a library. It runs its own sound system and sound engineers, and programmes live music and club nights that range from local artists to international touring acts, with local names taking support slots alongside headliners as well as headlining on their own. It holds 180 people.

On the night, Vanity Children take the top spot, with English Dead, Minor Disasters and Sheepscar 360 filling out the rest of the bill. It's a 360 Club night, so it fits their usual pattern of bringing together several acts on one bill. The Lending Room is at 229 Woodhouse Ln, Leeds LS2 3AP, upstairs in The Library pub.
