18+ vinyl reggae night run by Rally Sound with special guest selectors Lioness Power, Burninz, Frankie Forward and Principal.
Tradition is back at The Chemic Tavern on Saturday 24 October, with the night running through until Sunday morning. It's a session run by Rally Sound that pairs foundation reggae with a vintage sound system, played strictly on vinyl. The October edition was moved to the 24th, and this time the special guest selectors are Leeds queens Lioness Power, who have been lighting up dances and festivals across the UK and Europe for the last couple of years.
Along with Lioness Power, the line-up includes Burninz, Frankie Forward and Principal. Between them, they'll be working through the crates on the sound system, keeping the focus on foundation reggae and the vinyl format that defines the night. It's a session built on that particular sound system culture — the heavy low end and the crackle of the records — rather than a standard DJ set.
