Tiny Tuesdays, Baby and Toddler Creative Playgroup

Tiny Tuesdays is back at Chapel Allerton Arts Centre on Tuesday 20 October, running from 09:30 to 13:30. It's a baby and toddler creative playgroup led by Lisa, who runs it alongside Mini Mondays at the same venue. Every Monday and Tuesday in term time she turns the gallery into a play space with storytelling, singing and arts and crafts for babies through to pre-schoolers and their grown-ups, so if you've got little ones, there's a morning's worth of things to get stuck into.

There's an optional Little Story Stars session for children aged 2-5, which adds stories, simple drama, play and crafting to the mix. The cafe bar runs all morning, serving coffee, babyccinos, cakes, flapjacks and light lunches, so you can keep yourself fed and watered while the kids are busy.

The venue itself is more than just a play space. It houses North Art Framing, North Art gallery, artist studios, Northlight CIC and an independent cafe and bar, and programmes everything from opera workshops and Jazz Leeds sessions to art history talks and a pay-as-you-feel art group. It's got free parking and step-free access, which makes it easy to get to with a pram.

Entry is free, and the cafe bar is open throughout the morning. You'll find it at Chapel Allerton Arts Centre, 31 Potternewton Lane, Chapel Allerton, Leeds LS7 3LW, on Tuesday 20 October from 09:30 to 13:30.
