The Pull Pit

The Pull Pit comes to Home Nightclub Leeds on Sunday 8 November, an arm wrestling event presented by Robbie Byrne. It's billed as the first arm wrestling event to take place inside a home nightclub, and the afternoon is built around a series of supermatches that run the full spectrum of the sport, from novice pairings to high-end professionals. There are up to 20 supermatches on the card, so the action spans the whole range of the sport rather than sticking to one level.

Because it covers that whole spread, it's open to all ages. The novice matches bring the sport down to a level anyone can recognise, while the professional bouts show the high end of what arm wrestling looks like when the real heavy hitters get together. It's aimed at sports fans, athletes, fitness enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys the thrill of live competitive action and the energy of a crowd.

It runs from 2 pm to 9 pm at Home Nightclub Leeds, 117 Albion Street, Leeds LS2 8DY. General admission starts from £12.
