Open mic night from the Jams series with a stage, PA and backline, headlined by Boyfriend/Girlfriend.
The Mos Eisley Cantina Open Mic Night is back at The Packhorse on Thursday 22 October, with Boyfriend/Girlfriend on the bill. It's part of the Jams and open mics series promoted by Cloth Cat, which runs across Leeds, so if you've caught their other nights, you'll know the general shape of it: a mix of local acts taking turns on the stage throughout the evening.
For those who haven't been, the setup is built for anyone who wants to play. There's a stage, a PA, an engineer on hand, and backline available for acts, so you don't need to lug your own amps and drums in if you're just turning up to play a few songs. It's that open-mic format that lets the night build as it goes, with different acts slotting in one after another.
Boyfriend/Girlfriend are the confirmed name for this one, so they'll be among the acts taking their turn on the night. The rest of the bill fills out as the evening unfolds, with the open-mic side of things leaving room for whoever else decides to step up.
