Live show by The Harry Orme Trio, who rework rhythm-and-blues classics from Ray Charles and Bill Withers, at The Domino Club in the Grand Arcade.
The Harry Orme Trio play The Domino Club on Friday 23 October, with the set running from 7pm to 9.40pm. Doors open at 6pm, so you've got an hour to get in and settle before things kick off.
At the front is Harry Orme, a vocalist and guitarist who's been playing across the UK and Europe for more than a decade. He's the one leading the trio, and the night is built around his voice and guitar. He describes what he brings as a slice of Americana, and the set is built on rhythm-and-blues classics from the likes of Ray Charles and Bill Withers — songs you'll recognise, reworked by him and the trio. It's that kind of night: familiar ground, but played with his own take on it.
The show is organised by The Domino Club, and it's for ages 18 and over. You can get tickets through Eventbrite for £10.46, but walk-ins are welcome too, so you don't have to book in advance if you'd rather just turn up on the night.
