Live music gig with The Foxgloves, Alley Cat and When I Say Heart at Boom in Leeds.
The Foxgloves headline Boom on Thursday 29 October, with Alley Cat and When I Say Heart on the bill. It's a three-act night, and the Foxgloves take the main slot.
Alley Cat brings a long history to the line-up. She's been DJing since 1997 and has worked with Kokeshi, Kool FM, Armory and Offshore. 2024 was a big year for her: she released her debut artist album, The Widow Project, which Bandcamp named one of its Best Electronic Releases of the year. It picked up a five-star review from Joe Muggs at The Arts Desk and spent more than five weeks in the iTunes and Apple Dubstep charts. She's still releasing on her own Kokeshi imprint and still broadcasts her Kool FM radio show live from the Rinse FM Studios in East London. Her sound sits across dubstep and electronic, so that's the kind of territory she'll be covering.
When I Say Heart round out the bill, and the whole evening runs from the Foxgloves down through the two openers. It's a Thursday night, so you'll be in for a mid-week one rather than a weekend session.
