Over-18s film quiz night at The Domino Club in Grand Arcade, with music from Jacob and his band, in association with the Leeds International Film Festival.
The Big Fat Film Quiz comes to The Domino Club on Monday 9 November, presented by the venue in association with the Leeds International Film Festival. It's a film quiz night in the basement of a Grade II listed building on Grand Arcade, and the whole thing runs as part of the festival's wider programme.
The evening leans on the musical talents of Jacob and his band, who play themes from some of the most beloved films in ways audiences have never heard. Those live versions sit alongside the creative quiz rounds, with the organisers pointing to the kazoo round as a particular highlight. Between the music and the questions, it's as much a night of listening as it is of competing.
Teams are capped at four players, and the prize pool is built around the 2026 Domino, the first ever issued. Each member of the winning team gets one, and they come with a £100 bar tab for the group. Second place takes home another £100 bar tab. The Domino itself grants the holder and a mate a queue jump, free entry on non-ticket-only nights, and a welcome cocktail every time they visit throughout the year.

Doors open at 6:00pm and the quiz starts at 7:00pm, with the night running until 11:30pm. Tickets are £5 per person and sold in teams of up to four, so you'll need to get your group together before booking. There are limited tickets available on the door, but it's probably worth sorting yours in advance. The venue is strictly over-18s and, because it's in a basement, there is no accessible entrance.
