EP release night with Sweet Iscariot and Blaze Hamlet each presenting their second EPs, plus Sam Rook, at The Cardigan Arms.
Sweet Iscariot are back at The Cardigan Arms on Friday 23 October, and it's more than just a gig. The night is called Sweet Release, and it's a joint release party: both Sweet Iscariot and Blaze Hamlet are presenting their second EPs on the same bill, with Sam Rook joining them. Sweet Iscariot are the ones organising the whole thing, so it's their night as much as anyone else's.
Having two EPs coming out at once gives the evening a bit of a double-feature feel. Sweet Iscariot will be playing their new material, and Blaze Hamlet will be doing the same with theirs, so you'll hear two different records debuted on the same stage. Sam Rook rounds out the line-up, making it three acts across the night. It's a long one, too — the show runs for three and a half hours, from 7:30 PM through to 11 PM, so there's plenty of room for each set to breathe rather than everything being rushed into a single evening.
