Live gig by Superfan, the string-arranged songwriting project of Brooklyn multi-instrumentalist Kali Flanagan, at Headrow House.
Superfan plays Headrow House on Friday 6 November, with the Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Kali Priya Flanagan taking the stage. The show is promoted by Super Friendz, and tickets are available through Jumbo Records, DICE, Resident Advisor, Songkick and Instagram.
Superfan is Flanagan's songwriting project, and what started as an imagined solo act has since grown into an ambitious string arrangement. It's a Brooklyn project coming to Leeds, so it's a fair distance to travel for a single night.
Headrow House itself is a former textile mill built in the early 1900s in the city centre. After ten years of neglect, it was turned into an arts, food, drink and events space, and it now houses a large beer hall and the Ox Club restaurant — a solid-fuel grill cooking with Yorkshire produce that's featured in both the Michelin Guide and the Good Food Guide. There are two roof terraces as well, so it's a spot that does a fair bit more than just host gigs.

The music happens in the first-floor gig room, which holds 150 standing or 80 seated and has its own bar, PA, lighting and a projector. Evening doors are usually at 7.30pm, and assistance dogs are welcome.
